A man was shot in the leg early Friday morning on Charleston's West Side, Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers said.
Dispatchers said the incident was reported about 3 a.m. outside a bar at 1632 Sixth Ave. The victim was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital. The Gazette-Mail is awaiting more information from police, including the identities of those involved and any possible arrests.
