A person who was reportedly shot in the face on the West Side hill in Charleston Monday drove himself to a hospital to be treated for injuries.
Charleston Police responded to a call around 1:50 p.m. Monday afternoon near a house at 808 Hendrix St.
A Kanawha Metro 911 dispatcher said a bullet grazed the victim's face, but that they still were able to drive to the hospital for treatment.
It's unclear whether the shooting took place outside or inside the Hendrix Avenue home.
Police are investigating the incident.
