A Charleston man who allegedly stabbed another man on Sunday was arrested Friday, police say.
Charles Gibson, 30, was taken into custody Friday afternoon, according to Lt. Steve Cooper, Charleston police chief of detectives. He is charged with malicious wounding.
The victim was 27-year-old Antwain Means, the brother of James Means, the 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed on Charleston's East End last month.
Cooper has said the two incidents are not related.
Police have said both men had former relationships with the same woman. He said they were fighting in the 1100 block of Barton Street before Gibson stabbed Means in the chest, puncturing a lung. Police have said Means is recovering from his injuries.
