The Wayne County Sheriff's Department said a head-on crash on U.S. 152 Tuesday killed Larry Harless, 56, and Gary Maynard, 42, both of Wayne County.
It happened near Sam's Gun and Pawn Shop, about 3 miles north of Wayne, according to a news release.
More information will become available after the department investigates what ultimately led to the death of Harless, of Ardel Road, and Maynard, of Lavalette, the release states.
