Gov. Jim Justice has ordered all U.S. and West Virginia flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff on Saturday in honor of a Bluefield police officer killed this week.
Lt. Aaron Crook was chasing a suspected drunk driver when his cruiser crashed early Tuesday morning. The man he was chasing faces several charges, including DUI causing death.
Crook's funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brushfork National Guard Armory in Bluefield. Crook will be buried at Restwood Memorial Park in Hinton.
