Two Charleston men were arrested Tuesday and accused of setting a fire in the area of Big Bottom Hollow near Campbell's Creek.

Ricky Dale Igo, 53, and his son Daniel Wayne Igo, 26, were seen on surveillance footage in the area of Monday's fire, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. Both were charged with arson.

The West Virginia Division of Forestry had set up the cameras after it responded, along with the Malden Volunteer Fire Department, to several fires in the area. One fire destroyed a stolen vehicle and another damaged about 150 acres of woodland, the release stated.

Sgt. Brian Humphreys of the sheriff's office warns in the release that setting fires in wooded areas or along remote roads can easily spread to nearby businesses or homes.
