West Virginia State Police on Tuesday arrested a Raleigh County woman who was a suspect in a Monday night robbery.

Rebecca Cook, 40, was arrested at a gas station in Ghent after State Police were tipped off about her location in the area.

On Monday, Cook and at least two other people allegedly robbed a home on Tilden Road in Raleigh County, according to a release from the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office. After interviews with the homeowner and witnesses, the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office obtained an arrest warrant for Cook and a suspect vehicle description.

The homeowner told police Cook and her accomplices carried knives. The homeowner also said they were injured when one was thrown during the robbery.

Cook was stopped Tuesday at the Ghent Little General store along with two other people who are considered suspects in the robbery. State Police originally thought the car was being used as a meth lab, but further investigation determined it wasn't.

The people who were stopped with Cook have not been arrested, though police are interviewing them.

The case remains under investigation. Further arrests are expected, Capt. Larry Lilly of the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
