BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (AP) - Federal and state law enforcement officers have seized more than $900,000 after arresting a Bridgeport man on drug charges.

The Exponent Telegram reports Suhip Ebrahim was charged Saturday with possession with intent to distribute oxycodone. He was arrested after entering a Wheeling residence that was under surveillance. According to court filings, he was carrying 589 oxycodone pills. Another 95 were inside the residence.

Agents seized about $113,000 in cash from Ebrahim's vehicle. On Wednesday, according to court filings, an individual turned over to drug task force agents around $111,000 in cash that he said Ebrahim had instructed him to remove from a Clarksburg storage unit. As the investigation continued, police on Thursday found nearly $700,000 in a storage unit in Morgantown.

Ebrahim has been ordered detained pending prosecution.
