LOGAN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia State Police say a motorist has been cited after her vehicle struck a student who was walking to board a school bus in Logan County.

WCHS-TV reports 23-year-old Robbie Grove of the Logan area was charged with driving past a school bus that had stopped to pick up the 12-year-old student on Thursday along state Route 10.

Senior Trooper J.E. Garren in Logan says the student suffered minor injuries.

Last week, two Wayne County students suffered minor injuries when they were hit by a logging truck as they were getting off a school bus in Lavalette. The truck's driver was cited for failure to maintain control and passing a stopped school bus.
