FORT ASHBY, W.Va. (AP) - A Fort Ashby man has been charged with setting a fire that destroyed a church in Mineral County.
The State Fire Marshal's Office says 27-year-old Caleb Lusk is charged with first-degree arson.
The Cumberland (Maryland) Times-News reports the fire occurred early Wednesday at the Berean Independent Baptist Church in Fort Ashby.
Church pastor Richard Riley says the roof collapsed in the fire and the church was a total loss.
Lusk was being held on $75,000 bond Thursday at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta. Jail records didn't indicate whether Lusk has an attorney.
